Scott.
My name is Scott Woods. I have been involved with sports, health and fitness for the past 7 years. I original started as a UK Athletics coach then went onto to becoming a personal trainer. In 2023 I trained in Olympic weightlifting through the UKSCA, and I continue to work as a Personal Trainer.
I started SW sports therapy in April 2024 after qualifying as a sports massage therapist.
I have been a personal trainer for the past 6 years, and over those years, many of my clients would come to me with mobility issues and general aches and stiffness. As much as being a personal trainer allowed me to help them improve those areas, I felt that going into sports therapy would be a great way to help them further. And so started this journey into sports massage therapy.
I love all sports, including athletics and football, and recently getting into my triathlon phase of life (it's just a phase).
I have had some amazing and interesting people come through the doors of SW Sports Therapy, including world champion and paralympic swimmer, Iron Man conquerors, Hyrox competitors, champion boxers and Scottish national sprinters, amongst others.
The diversity of people visiting has ranged from professional sporting people to everyday gym goers to anyone and everyone. And I think that's one of the things I love most about the job.

Rhona.
Hi, I’m Rhona Callander. I’m currently studying for my MSc in Physiotherapy, and I hold a Level 4 Sports Massage qualification alongside a degree in Anatomical Sciences. Sport has always been a huge part of my life — I’m an ex–Team GB cyclist and now spend my free time white water kayaking. I’m really excited to be joining SW Sports Therapy and can’t wait to help you feel your best, recover well, and optimise your performance. Looking forward to working with you all!
